Paladar is situated at historic St George’s Circus, London’s first purpose-built traffic intersection – dating from 1771. The landmark obelisk milestone marks one mile from Fleet Street to the north, London Bridge to the north-east and the Houses of Parliament to the west. The area to the south is home to a large Latin American community, placing Paladar both geographically and culturally at a crossroads between the various communities it serves.

Public Transport

Paladar is conveniently located within walking distance of several tube stations: Elephant & Castle and Lambeth North are just a 5-minute walk away, Southwark is 7 minutes, and Waterloo station can be reached in 8 minutes.

There are also numerous bus routes that pass nearby, with the closest stops at St George’s Circus and the Imperial War Museum.

By Car

Car parking is not as difficult to find as it is in many parts of central London. After 7pm Monday-Saturday and all day Sunday there is free parking directly outside the restaurant in the loading bays.

There is meter parking in Borough Road and the streets just off it (eg Library Street) as well as in Garden Row. Parking in these bays and on single yellow lines in the vicinity is usually free after 6.30pm Monday-Friday and all weekend.

Please note that Paladar is located inside the TFL Congestion Zone and the ULEZ Zone.
